TIWI HAVE U EVER FALLING IN LOVE?

Rebecka               : Hi tiwi have u ever felt in love?
Tiwi                      : yes of course, If I am not fall in love. I am not normal. The thing is how u manage it
Rebecka               : you are absolutely right
Tiwi                        : I mean how you manage your feeling
Rebecka               : yes that’s correct
Tiwi                        : why?
Rebecka               : no, I just wondering
Tiwi                        : hm…
Rebecka               : how about if a women having sex before marriage?
Tiwi                        : hm.. well its actually taboo. But there are some students they having sex before marriage and sometimes pregnant although they know it is forbidden in our religion (having sex without marriage)
Rebecka               : hmmm really?
Tiwi                        : yeah there are some students in big cities and maybe outside university
Rebecka               : actually if you are pregnant while you are in the collage it will ruin all the things
Tiwi                        : and did you remember the movie? The movie we watched in Pak Jun’s house with mas ahonk, ahim, adi, and villagers? “Zainuddin and Hayati” the sinking of van der wijck
Rebecka               : yeah,
Tiwi                        : see Zainuddin in the movie said that “Pohon pisang tidak berbuah dua kali, pantang lelaki makan sisa” which loosely translated “a banana tree will not produce fruit twice, the real man will not accept a woman who had pregnant before marriage” although the context in the movie hayati is a widower but it is saying for a woman who pregnant before marriage
Rebecka               : hm?
Tiwi                        : well it’s not fair actually, while the man not get burden of shame and woman get all the burden of shame because of they are having kid before they marriage. And woman pregnant before marriage
Rebecka               : yeah it’s not fair
Tiwi                        : aha, did you remember when my ua said that if you decided to send your daughter to collage you have to spend money more than send your son to collage because.
Rebecka               : yeah, I remember, but why?
Tiwi                        : because.. daughter will not depend their cost of living to her boyfriend. If she depends the cost of her living to her boyfriend then her boyfriend will ask reply, the reply is sometimes that sort of thing… I mean having sex (because it is common known that if you are going steady with your girlfriend you Have to treat your girlfriend and even drive her safely, drop her home and drop her to collage. Some says that what boyfriend for”, said my collage)

Rebecka               : aha. I see then now I understand why did your ua say like that?.

In kampong Batipuh, Hayati opened the window while her ninik started to discuss concerning hayati’s life. Elders were discussing two persons were going to proposing hayati, they were zainuddin and aziz. Zainuddin sent a letter of proposal and Aziz sent his representative to propose hayati. Elder ninik opened the meeting by saying God Sake and the matters were going to discuss. Younger heard and gave comment yet the elder still operating and covering the discussion till the end. If the younger gave a comment they clashed it directly saying that younger less experience and not really competent in life, though they were immature yet. Elder knew best and more how life was going on. Mak interupeted the speech by saying hayati’s love to Zainuddin “cinta hayati’s still lakke to zainuddin” thought hayati argued then hayati gave up her love to zainuddin. Reportase kuliah sosiolinguistik 9 desember 2014 Keragaman Etnik di Kabupaten Toraja Pratiwi sakti P0500214010 Toraja mengingatkan akan masa kecil saya, saya besar disana ketika masih batita dan adek kedua saya lahir di tanah toraja pada tahun 1992. Ada hal yang sering saya ingta ketika berbicara mengenai toraja. Pertama rumah tongkonan yang ada di toraja, dua rantepao tempat penjualan kerbau, tiga kuburan yang ada disebuah gunung dan didepan gunung itu berjejer patung-patung kayu. Itu pengalaman masa kecil saya tentang toraja. Ketika besar tepatnya berumur 17 tahun, ada sepupu saya yang masih berumur 7 tahun berbicara dengan idiolek yang ia bekin sendiri, kemudian saya bertanya. Bahas apa itu? Dengan gaya centilnya dia menjawab “haha itu bahasa toraja, konopoko?” “ah benarkah?” Dari kejadian ini, saya menduga bahwa “uga” sepupuku memiliki teman yang berasal dari Toraja. BUGINESE VS others
